What does this mean for you?
Our online shop is now called HEUBERG and can be found at heuberg-atelier.com. Links to our previous address will redirect you.
Your existing orders, warranties and customer accounts remain valid and unchanged. You don’t need to do anything. Even if your product still bears the Rohleder name, we’re here for you.

Why the new name?
Rohleder began as a small side project in a garage. We focused on developing and making products, giving little thought to branding or how we presented ourselves. Since then, it has become our full-time work. We felt it was time to define more clearly what we stand for and how we communicate our values.
HEUBERG is the result. The new name gives our work a distinct identity and room to grow, including beyond leather.
There is also a practical reason: as an established term in the leather industry, “Rohleder” could not be registered as our trademark. HEUBERG gives us a protected name under which we can continue to grow internationally.
What’s the story behind the little bird?
Our new brand mark is the bowerbird: a collector and creator that carefully selects and arranges the objects it finds.
We see something of our own approach in this. We collect, compare and experiment with distinctive materials. We’re fascinated by how their textures, colours and combinations shape the character of an object or a room.
Its love of blue has inspired us, too: in future, a small blue detail will be tucked away in some of our products. Look closely, and you might spot it.
